For my 2nd and 3rd inductions, my babies didn't engage until pushing stage, so I GUSHED with every contraction!

After 4 days of the cord and the gel to get things moving I was 1cm dilated when they broke my water no pain just felt like I'd wet myself
Was put on drip to get things going painful contractions came almost instantly by the 2nd mark I told my sister and my cousin I'd changed my mind I want a csection
Because I had pelvic issues I kept needing to get out of bed but because of the monitoring of DD heart I kept getting back in bed to rest too!!!
I was sitting on the loo when things changed and I needed to push......
Midwife thought I'd be in labour for hours and hours cause it was my first but took 4.5hrs from water breaking to placenta delivery.
I so hope my induction in a few weeks is as laid back as that one was!!!
Best of luck with yours!!!!

They must have broken them by now, hope your labour is progressing by itself with no need for the drip or further intervention. Good luck!

Hi everyone thanks for all the replies.
They put me on syntocin drip as well and I got to 8cms before asking for epidural, I couldn't stop shaking and it was scaring dh. Ended up I would have needed one anyway because bubs kinda got stuck and they had to use vacuum to get him out, he was anterior as he started but then spun as he was coming down little rat bagI had 2nd degree tear and developed a hematoma which wasn't discovered until I couldnt pee and they had to put a catheter in. So ob came in and redid some stitches and added some more.
So in love with my little man Cooper Tamatāne born at 3:08 yesterday weighing 6pd1oz. They were so worried he was small but turns out he's bigger than what they estimated
