Default OMG! Law and order vaccination episode

    Anyone watching this????

The storyline is this - little girl goes to play at city park, gets measles from a child who isn't immunized and dies - from the measles.

Mother of non-immunized child arrested for murder of little girl.

    What. The. Hell???

    Sensationalism in the us??

I'm interested to see how the ep plays out.

This has been in several times before. Its wonderful, the non vax mother is a murderer (rolls eyes) and the teen mum is neglectful and useless

Sensational and completely biased - its a horrible senario

I saw bits of it tonight. Its rediculous. There is no actual law that vaccinations must be done so she didn't break the law. DH and I were shaking our heads. For the record, DH's three teenagers were all vaccinated and our future children will also be vaccinated. I'm am not pro for either side, i believe its personal choice.

I believe we all make the best decision we can for our families.

I am of the opinion that the reason the majority of these communicable diseases are no longer highly prevalent is due to them being 'stamped out' via high immunization rates.

Having said that though, vaccination doesn't guarantee you won't contract said disease. You may still get it but only a mild case.

I don't particularly care if people do or don't vax their kids, just like I don't care if they ff or bf, Blw or spoon feed etc etc etc.

We each make the choice for our own kids as best we can.

This episode was probably sponsored by Pfizer

If my young bub died because of an older child that wasn't vaccinated, I'd explore my Options in trying to sue the mother's butt.

But even when vaccinated, you can still contract the disease? Would you still try and sue if the child WAS immunized?
