Default Almost 24 hours of conteactions

Do u think I should go to hospital? When I phoned them yesterday arvo at about 2pm the midwife was really rude and said cause its our first bub it could still be ages but after 24 hours of contractions which started at 9 minutes and are now at 4 I'm thinking I would rather go in but don't want to be turned away again....

How exciting that you get to meet your little one soon, good luck

Yep I'd definitely be leaving now! If they are rude stand your ground and tell them you won't be leaving until you see a doctor and are examined.
Have your waters broken yet? Either way I'd be going now.

Nope hospital won't even see me...
Im 38+2, placenta is calcifying according to ob on Tuesday.

They don't think I'm in established labour yet and won't do an internal so have said there is no point and to try and get into dr this morning. Told me to take two panadol and go back to sleep....
We are both a bit annoyed as I phoned hubby's yesterday morning saying contractions were 5 mins apart and this could be it so Dh came home but nothing happened, he is going into work today but staying around the workshop just annoying that we've lost a days income because the hospital won't see me...

Are you kidding!? I wouldn't even have bothered calling, I would just go in. They can't make you leave.
