I has this same problem with my DD2 recently, she can be a stubborn little girl at the best of times. Unfortuntately I had to hold her down to get her to take the medicine, much of which she just spat out, but after the second day of doing this I think she realised it wasn't a situation she was going to win, so started to take her medicine. Once she finished her course of antibiotics she then kept after for more of the 'pink medicine', go figure!
