    DD was 5 days overdue and my waters had to be broken by the midwife when I was around 8cm dilated

    40 weeks waters broke spontaneously at 10cm been in labour for approx 6.5 hrs.

    40+10 weeks waters broke spontaneously at 10cm as pushing.

    40+9 weeks waters spontaneously broke as pushing baby out.

    40+13 after over 14hrs labour waters broken spontaneously an hour earlier discovered I had loads more, then had them manually break them baby within 30mins.

    DS - 41 weeks exactly, spontaneous labour which slowed on the way to hospital, so they manually broke my waters to get things going again.

    DD - I didn't put her in the poll as was an elective at 38+5.

    DS1 waters broke as first sign of labor at all.. took nearly 30 mins later for first niggle and 11 hours total before he was born

    DS2 As I started pushing it vecame apparent I was birthing them still in tact, so my midwife broke them manually and he was born much easier after that

    Will let you know in roughly 5 weeks about DS3 *excitement*

    My waters broke spontaneously at 39+6 when I sat down ad tried to take my shoe off! I'd only just got in the door after being out, and glad I was home as the waters were full of icky green meconium!

    Contractions started after about 30 mins. Bubs born 18hrs later.
