Congrats reeve family!! Nice to hear of BFPS!!

As for Inrernet cheapies - I got a BFP on an IC at 8dpo so checked it with FR and it was positive too so I'd say they are good for the money but I only would use them as a buffer to save from wasting money and testing early with FR.

I think so doesn't it take a few days for the egg to actually implant. So you shouldn't really have symptoms till then as its not attached to you, but I could be totally wrong. Fx

I went to the doctor yesterday to confirm my pregnancy, I went to my usual medical practice and saw 'first available', and he was a bit odd, so hesitant to do a urine test because it's so early... Surely if my home pregnancy tests were sensitive enough to pick it up, his ones would be too?! Anyway next thing I know he has me getting a blood test, I wasn't expecting to have one and had only drank 1 small glass of water all day, but it was fine anyway :-) so we go back this morning to get the results!

Then we're going to tell our parents, hubby's parents will be ecstatic because this will be their first grandchild! I think my parents will be out for the whole day, we saw them yesterday but I'm trying to think of a reason to need to drop in there today, so I can find out what their schedule for the day is! Otherwise, we might just have to get them over here for dinner tonight lol.

Not sure when we'll tell our siblings, my sister is 1 week into the TWW on IVF attempt #2 after years of trying... So I'm not sure how and when to tell her, then once she's told the others will be fine...

We also want to tell our best friends (a couple) and another small group of close friends, because we were out with them last night and everyone got Macca's sundaes and at the last minute I remembered I can't have soft serve, so had to pretend I just didn't feel like one anymore - it'll be much easier if they just know!

Then after they know, we won't tell anyone else until 12 weeks... Though depending on how many different appointments I have to have during that period, I might tell my boss a little sooner to make things easier :-)
