Default Did you 'drop' before going into labour?

Hi, I am 2 days over my due date with my first child, and I don't think my belly has dropped down at all! I know the first is usually a bit late, just wondering if this indicates that I still have a while to go or means nothing? I've been feeling a little bit crampy today but it could just be me grasping at anything to give me hope the end is nigh

I never "dropped", carried high right til the end. Hope you get to meet your beautiful baby very soon.

I was similar - didn't think my belly dropped at all. In fact I didn't have any braxton hicks or prelabour and thought it was never going to happen! I went a week over in the end.

Just enjoy the peace and rest up, it will happen soon enough!

I know, but I now have what appears to be a PUPPS rash which makes me feel even more like a host to a parasite! Only eviction of the spawn will make it go away! That's on top of my general lack of patience

Not that I noticed. Maybe others who didn't see me everyday did though? I think I may have carried pretty low anyway

Hope bubs doesn't keep you waiting much longer

I didnt drop at all and DD only entered the pelvis during labour and engaged just before pushing. From what I've read posterior positioned babies are most likely to ride high as their heads are not quite in the right position to 'fall' in.

there are some movements on spinning babies to encourge bubs to 'fall' into place.
