    Default Loss of appetite

    Hi

    Both my fellas are sick.
One is on amoxil and the other on e-mycin (penicillin allergy).

They've been sick since Thursday, on meds since Thursday. They both feel better except for the persistent cough.

Both have virtually stopped eating. As in, 2 spoonfuls of bfast lunch or dinner and they're done.

I don't know what to do.

Ds2 is not dehydrated but is finishing half a bottle of milk for each milk feed, and ds1 is happy to sip all day long.

I would have thought they'd have their apetite back by now.

    Should I be worried?

I don't think so, my DD has had a cough/cold/fever for a week and she's lost her appetite too (she's usually a great eater). It tends to happen when she's sick, but she always more than makes up for it wen she's better

I try to give her snacks throughout the day, fruit and biccies etc, even if it's just a few bites. And as long as she's having her milk, I don't worry too much

My lil man has been like this the last couple days due to really bad Teething (as in we thought he had a really bad ear infection and flu, went to doctors and got the all clear )
i wouldn't worry yourself to much im sure the meds will work their magic soon and your muffins will be back to normal
    good luck!
