My husband and I have been tying for a baby since August of last year, but unfortunately have had three first trimester miscarriages. We have now been to a fertility specialist and had blood work and scans taken. I have been told my scans were all normal, but they wish to see me again to discuss my blood tests. They will not tell me anything until my appointment in two weeks. However, my period is late and I believe I am pregnant again, and am terrified about what is wrong with me that may cause a fourth miscarriage. By the time I have my appointment I estimate I will be about 7 weeks, which is further then I have been along in any of my previous pregnancies. I am scared I will have miscarried by the time I get in to see him.
Is there anything I can do???

I had 3 miscarriages, n now im pregnant again.. abt 5+ weeks.
I did the blood test after the 2nd miscarriages and found out that I have Antinuclear antibodies, which cause the miscarriages. My appointment is next week, n yes im scare too!
Guess there is nothing much to do now, just keep positive thinking n dont worry too much. Hope it turn out well and you will be fine.

I'm feeling for both you girls...
All you can do is just live your life one day at a time.
I wish you both the best!

call them tell them your predicament and ask to speak with the specialist over the phone as a matter of urgency - i am sure they will do this for you.
I had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy in a row and then had two successful pregnancies directly after. Even if there is something they have found, it could be something simple they wish to go over to ensure you have the best chance moving forward - but do give them a call - if they wont even speak with you over the phone then i suggest finding a new FE and asking them to send the results of your tests to them. Good luck with it all.

Hey, just wanted to pop in and say that a friend of mine has suffered 2 miscarriages and went the fs and they said she had mild endo… However, she was referred to acupuncture by a friend (a guy that has a success rate of 85% within the first three months of seeing him ) He diagnosed my friend with a cold uterus, anyway she has been seeing him for almost three months and is now pregnant again and is the furthest she has ever been & so far so good!
I have booked myself into see him (8 week wait but going through a miscarriage once was hard enough, I don’t want this to happen again)
I know this does not help you right now but might be worth looking into?
As mentioned above, I too would call and express your anxiety and see if they can fit you in earlier, there will be something I am sure!

Go to your GP and get the GP to access the blood test results and tell you what's going on. You could ask your GP to communicate with the office of the FS on your behalf or refer you to another one who can fit you in quickly. It is also possible that your GP can prescribe whatever medication might be needed.
I am waiting to find out if I'm pregnant again after 18 months of first trimester miscarriages. It changes the way you look at things, I doubt I'll get excited until 12 weeks have passed - mine is an age related problem so don't let my negativity get you down.
