Default Breastfed baby on solids - poop question

So I know BF babies can go up to 10days without pooping and this is normal, but what about if they are also on solids? My nearly 7 month old has been on solids for about 3 weeks and has always been a weekly pooper but I'm just wondering should he be going more often now that he's eating foods?

It depends. My DD, on solids, has gone 4/5 days without one and when it happens, it is a mess. But the last 3 days, she's had 3-4 pooey nappies a day. Just make sure he's having plenty of pear (natural laxative effect) and a bit of water with every meal. You will become familiar with the foods that clog him up or help him clear out his system.

I have been giving him pears of a morning and water with every meal but he's still not going everyday. We are up to day 5 today. Hmmm I would just have thought with the food going in, it would have to come out more frequently!
