My family are very obsessed with dress up parties If there is an event to be had, it usually involves dressing up in a costume I've been heaps of characters, it's loads of fun.

So many. My group of friends used to have loads of dress up parties, many of them politically incorrect so I am not going to post what we dressed up as here!

I had a Halloween party for DD when she was 4 (or 5, can't remember now) and my brother had a 70s party for his 30th.

I hate dressing up. I did a masquerade for my 18th. I went to a burlesque party not long ago.

Love them! I had an 80's party for my hens night - we raided op shops for the costumes and found some hilarious 80's style prom dresses such a laugh. And I had a 1920s flappers & gangsters costume party for my 30th. I have also been to 2 movie themed parties where you dressed as your favourite movie character/star. Little bit silly and lots of fun!

I'm not a huge fan of them they take me out of my comfort zone. Dh's work Christmas parties used to always been fancy dress or themed so they had..
Heaven and hell (went as greek gods)
Tv characters (went as mash characters)
What you wanted to be when you grew up (I was studying at the time to be a preschool teacher which is what I wanted but went as a doctor and dh a cricket player)
    Jungle theme for the zoo
    Masquerade x 2
    Casino theme

Been to a few 21st ones too
Country theme - square dancing etc
    Fantasy x 2
    Hula party
Lovers & fighters or sinners and saints
    masquerade

For my 30th we did an 80s theme

I loooove dress up parties! Some friends of ours used to always throw costume parties for NYE, a few of the themes were Caesar's Palace and Love Boat. Also went to a tracksuit party last year, that was an awesome dress up party! And an 80's legends party this year where me and my friends dressed up as Heathers. Have also been to stars of the silver screen, 60's party, many Halloween parties, cowboys and Indians (me and DP went as Woody and Jessie), and a Scandinavian party. Lots and lots of others.
