Default Is there ANYTHING I can do for a cold during 3rd Tri?

I've done a bit of a search, and basically come up with a big fat 'no' besides panadol.

I'm at the end of my tether...blocked, runny nose, headache, sleeplessness...have been awake since 1am this morning and can't see myself sleeping anytime soon - it's the worst part of being sick for me!

I thought about taking some phenergan, but have read it's not safe in third Tri in case I go into labour and baby's respiratory system suffers. I thought at least it might help me sleep..

    Am so miserable right now

Lemsip! I was pregnant or breasfeeding for 5 years straight and it was all I could ever take for colds. Not great, but better than nothing. After that period, I had a cold and flu tablet and it nearly knocked my socks off.

    Hope you are better soon.

Drink lots of fluids. It actually helps you recover quicker if you do. That, panadol and rest, is about all you can do.

Mydol is what I take for migraines during pregnancy.. it has a higher level of Codeine than most panadeine type pills available over the counter (15mg) and my GP, midwife and Chemist all said it was safe during pregnancy. Panadol alone does nothing for me. Mydol will fix your aches and pains and may make you drowsy.
I'm not sure what else is safe for your other symptoms, but have you tried breathing in good old Vicks Vapour rub mixed in a big bowl of steaming water?
Honey and lemon juice is good for sore throats. Not sure about Lemsip?
    Get well!

antibiotics? you'd need a script though.
Class A drugs are safe during pregnancy. I'm now on my 4th course of ab's, 3 for a sinus and chest infection and the last for a bladder infection.

Lots if water to flush it out. Also squeeze a few lemons and heat up the juice. You can add a small bit of honey if you need to. Drink that down. Do it twice a day. I do this and I'm 100% fine in a day or so
