How much was your Wedding?

We hired a massive luxury house in the gold coast hinterland slept 16 people for 3 nights. We bought all our own alcohol and hired daquiri machines. We hired catering which included entrees mains and dessert. Also hired seating. There was approx 55 people at the wedding. All up cost $10,500 including all of the above and everything else no regrets.

We had a smallish wedding (no attendants and about 60 guests) and spent about 10K all up for our wedding. We had the ceremony and a relaxed cocktail reception at a lovely riverside venue.
We spent a further 10K on our honeymoon and went to New York, New Hampshire and LA.
We saved for a year to pay for our wedding and consider it money well spent. I also think that it wasn't an unreasonable amount for us to spend at the time(pre kids and mortgage).
We had a fabulous time we will always remember and we don't have any regrets.

It was close to 27k.
We got married at Maleny manor, ABIA winners for the last few years, stunning venue, lovely service.
We had 70 people and about six kids.
We had cocktails, finger food, then buffet mains, buffet deserts and wedding cake.
Also included bar tab for four hours, great serving!
We LOVED our wedding.
Our original venue shut down ten weeks before the big day, and the owner skipped the country. We lost an additional 10k.
So I guess technically 37k :/

I think we probably spent about $20,000 all up, but didn't pay for it all ourselves (we paid about half). No regrets at all - it was the perfect day. At the time the outlay for the wedding did not put a financial strain on us - if it had then we would have cut back significantly and spent alot less so as to stay within our means.
