I've tried Blue Steak through to Dead as can be.
I prefer piping hot rare steak. I love the flavour intensity you get in rare steak, how it melts in your mouth and peels apart.
I cant eat well done, I really hate the texture.

Medium rare. Dislike tough, chewy meat. Friends of mine like theirs just about burnt! I don't get it.

My other half loves his steak cooked through. He'll eat it if its a little pink but if it even remotely looks like it might drip blood he wont eat it.

Medium well. It seems to cover all eventualities. It's not going to be charcoal, but it isn't bleeding on the plate.

I very, very rarely eat steak (only when pregnant - I get steak cravings then). When I do, I order it med to well.
I watched this really gross doco on SBS once about these little live worm things which were in the meat upon serving if it wasn't cooked well done. Ohhhh it was so gross
