    That's so horrible I feel bad when DH jerks DS along (when he's being naughty mind you) in a shopping center. I couldn't IMAGINE either of us doing that, either in public or at home. Poor little guy

    Honestly I wouldn't think you look silly.. I would look at you thinking "ah, a wonderful caring parent treating her children with respect and love!" Sadly I work in retail and it's a rare sight. All I usually see is parents acting and screaming louder than the kids!

    How awful, I know exactly how you are feeling though, many other shoppers and I witnessed a lady walking along smacking her little girl over the head, we were all speechless and frozen with shock, I will never forget it. I'm all for a little tap on the hand or bum but some people take it way too far. When I told DH about the incident I saw he told me to video it on my phone next time so I have proof of what I had seen, hindsight is always good but god I wish I had of thought of that or at least stop it in some way.
