Yay for the pupo girls! Hope you little embies are snuggling in an making themselves at home.

Eaglegirl, welcome back. Hope this is the lucky one for you.

1babyplease, best of luck for transfer today!

Welcome Lynlee! The first cycle is always a bit scary, but you'll find lots of support on this forum. The waiting is the worst part of ivf. I find it so much harder the the injections or the egg pick ups. You must be excited to get started though best of luck to you, hope you are a lucky one and get your BFP first try.

grrrrr i am still sooo sick with the flu, i felt worse this morning. I rang my clinic and my nurse said she's had about 15 patients knocked out with it, must be a bad strain. She said one poor girl this morning had to cancel her transfer because she had such a high fever god i hope thats not me! I figure i have till end of next week to get better, just fingers crossed i don't wind up with a chest infection. Why do you always get sick at the wrong time?? Plus i have a pile of papers due at work and all i want to do is sleep and eat ice blocks. ahh well.

Hey ladies. I'm PUPO too!!! Yay!! I'm a bit crampy but okay. Going off to have acupuncture soon. Rachael3 are you having time off work more than today? I don't know whether to go in tomorrow or not. I don't do strenuous work but it's mentally taxing . I have a horrible wednesday at work.

Clem Grace I hope that flu gets better soon. We can't have you getting cancelled cause of a fever. Look after yourself the papers can wait xoxo

Me again- being a thread hog

When I got my post transfer instructions, the nurse said to 'continue aspirin' and I was like 'what aspirin?" and she said I was meant to be on it from the start of the cycle- but no one told me!! I'm starting it now. Do you reckon they've jeapardised it for me?? Im trying not to focus on it- what will be will be- but i'm a bit miffed!!

1xbabyplease congrats on being PUPO as well!! Feeling slightly crampy to. I'm not working ATM so I don't need to worry about having days off. If you can have tomorrow off could help settle your embryo, IVF is so expensive will another day off work hurt? If you can't it's no biggy a lot of woman go back straight after transfer.

Not sure about aspirin, i've never taken any in my cycles. You should question them.

Clem Grace.. I was sick the lead up and during AF this cycle did all I could to fight it....hope you feel better soon Not sure if it's worse going through IVF in summer or winter.

I think some clinics recommend low dose aspirin from the transfer onwards. i think there are two minds about it, my fs doesn't recommend it because she said there is no conclusive evidence that it works, but said it doesn't hurt though.

My FS doesn't recommend aspirin ... and I am allergic to it anyway. But it woudl be wrong to take it prior to EPU, as it's a blood thinner & they don't want you taking things like that until afterwards. Depends if you're prone to clotting or not. A good quality fish oil might do the same job.

What's the point of the aspirin? I've never taken it before & my clinic has never mentioned it either. *curious*
