Usually a wonderful sleeper in bed from 8pm-730am with zero wakings has started having alot of trouble going to sleep and staying asleep.
She went to bed at 8 tonight and has been crying on & off since & up/down 3 times.
I've tried bringing her into my bed (which always works) but she just kicked and squirmed & cried & wanted to get up/roll off me.
So unusual & out of character & I don't know what to do. I certainly can't lie here and listen to her cry all night.
Any ideas?

Could she be unwell? If she is crying & out of character, that would be my first thought... Or getting her 2yo molars through? I would probably try panadol if I did think she was unwell.... I hate the thought of giving drugs unneccesarily, but I also hate the thought of my bub miserable & feeling sick... It is such a guessing game! Have you checked her temp?

Oh the poor thing :-( I'd also give straight away see if that makes a difference and take her to the doc straight in the morning , once the doc checked her ears chest throat etc to make sure there was no infection or redness then you can consider other options if she's still doing it tomorrow .
Is she verbal enough to give you any indication of what's wrong ? My sons two but still not talking , that's why I ask as I know how hard it is having to guess when they can't tell us :-(
Good luck xo

Thanks everyone I took her to the dr today and she has school sores
She eventually went to sleep last night & when I changed her this morning her bottom is red raw & covered in weeping sores. They've also around her mouth.
Poor thing she's in alot of pain
She has antibiotics and cream for the open sores.
Hope it gives her some relief.

Atleast she's being treated now and was lucky she has a good mum that sensed something was wrong :-)
I hope she recovers quickly the poor little darling. Xo
