When it has 'stuff' in it lol
Usually twice a week but being a curious 15mth old, i sometimes have to do a "mini hair wash" when she puts 'stuff' in her hair the day after ive washed it. I just put her hair uder the basin and give it a quick wash.
She also sufferes from excema, frequent hair washing and baths agrivate and dry her scalp and skin out.
My mother, on the other hand would bath and wash her hair twice a day if i let her. Regardless of how much i tell her it's bad for her eczema.

DD1 i wash her hair twice a week, she has really long hair so its always tied back nicely so doesnt get grotty really.

DD2 probably 3-4times a week due to her rubbing food or sand thru her hair

I used to wash DS's hair most days in the shower, but now he insists on having a bath with his sister (in a tiny baby bath), I must say it hardly ever gets washed! Maybe once a week... but it is really short, and definately not smelly or anything. I have never washed DD's hair with shampoo (she's 9 months now), but do give it a wash with water in the bath most nights. Might have to start thinking about shampooing as she is getting more food and whatnot in it.
I only wash my hair about twice a week, when it starts to look greasy!

Once or twice a week a proper shampoo wash. She's 7 month old. If her dad baths her though her hair always ends up wet because he gives her a mini swimming lesson.

We wash the toddler's (21 months) twice a week (Sunday and Wednesday, right before and after daycare days), and then if needed in between.

The newbie... I think I've washed her hair maybe three times in her entire life! She's 8 weeks.

Probably twice a week if that, his hair doesn't really get that dirty. I only wash my own 2-3 times a week (it would ruin it to do it every day)

I wash the little ones hair most nights. But isn't it better to only wash every few days because of the natural oils? I don't know everyone is different. I just love the smell of freshly washed hair and it looks beautiful and shinny.

    Once a week after swimming.

It's not gross. I have hair that gets disgustingly oily after 1 day of not washing. It's a pain. If my children have hair that still looks nice after a week, I'm not going to get their hair into the habit of washing it everyday.
