Oh yeah, I was thinking slow cooker but cooking vegan meals is not like cooking meat. I can't stand the smell of steak or lamb cooking.

You can buy the oven bag with seasoning. We buy the Continental Cook in a bag BBQ honey flavour. Just add 8 chicken drumsticks and cook for an hr. Serve with vegetables or rice. Very easy and yummy

The slow cooker is still a great idea....just dont have it inside!! I've plugged mine into the laundry and even the garage to escape the smell and its great! It IS portable after all and as long as you dont have animals around, it cooks just as well somewhere other than inside the house!

Thanks so much for all your suggestions. I'm trying really hard to suck it up, I have so much sympathy for women with full blown morning sickness who have older children. Awful. I'm 11 weeks, so hopefully this will be over soon!

I just didn't cook for 3 months!! Don't know what I would have done if I had other kids, but my DH is an absolute champion

I fully am going with convenience, easy, type food when I feel yuck this pregnancy. Eg, pasta and a jar of pesto, a cooked chook and salad, a ready made pie from the butcher, eggs on toast, takeaway. If you only have MS for the first trimester it's hardly anything in terms of budget, etc. you can be less lazy when you start feeling better.

I relied on dh and take away alot. Bbq chooks with salad, dh cooked meat on the barbie a few times in the week like steak, sausages. If you have a good local butcher you can get things made like snitzels, burgers, rissoles etc. In the frozen section at the supermarket you can get veg, chips, crumbed fish, nuggets etc. they make quick easy meals for kids especially. And then if you have a deli or some kind pasta place close by you can buy ready made lasagnes that taste like home made (unlike supermarket packaged kind) and ravioli with just a plain jar sauce, nice and simple.
