    Default Best pocket nappy?

I am pretty keen on bumgenious 4.0 snap, but also like designer bums, greenkids and BBH?

I don't like fluffy minky or embroided or fancy designs - I prefer quite plain.

I would like cotton outside but have heard they can leak quite a bit?

What is your favourite pocket nappy? Why?

I love my bumgenius, have got 4's but wish I had gotten snaps instead of velcro.

I also love baby Beehinds multifits and magic-alls. I've literally never had a leak from my bbh and the ones I bought new for my 2yr old ds still look new, whereas some of the cheaper nappies I bought (monk'n'bears) the elastic is gone and the boosters are falling to pieces.

Pocket nappies are a pita to put together vs snap-ins etc but if I had my time over I'd only get pockets because it's much easier to deal with poop just on the shell rather than trying to scrape it off the edges of all the layers of snap or lay in boosters! Liners are great but can't always contain all of the poo.

I didn't love my green kids much when I first got them but they are growing on me now!
I also like issy bears & bum cheeks. I have some ebay cheapies too but I use bamboo inserts with them not the microfibre they came with.

I prefer snaps because DS can't get them off but velcro makes for a super quick change.

Oh and what felicia81 said about scraping poo off all the different layers of an ai2... Gross! I tried liners and gave up on them because they never quite contained everything.

It's hard to say what will work with your bub until he/she is here so make sure you get a few different brands.

Also my friend has tried designer bums and they wicked because of the cotton outer. Shouldn't be a problem if you change frequently though I'm guessing? I think a polyester outer prevents wicking and it dries faster.

Definitely BumGenius 4.0 as u can easily replace the elastic! A huge bonus! Snaps are much better in my opinion, although a few velcro ones are good for husband, grandparents etc. U can replace the velcro when it wears out, which I've done, I just find snaps so much longer lasting and no laundry tabs to worry about.

We use Sunbaby Diapers, we had used a couple of BBH but someone recommended us to Sunbaby and we haven't looked back. They have worked brilliantly for DD.

BumGenious 4.0 with snaps and EcoBumba. They're both just as good. I also love the fact that the EBs are made by a local WAHM. I also have BabyBehinds but find them too bulky and they leak more than the BGs and EBs. All of mine ate now doing the second round with DS2 and doing well :-)
