Maybe need to comp feed in the future and am looking at what the best brand of formula is? (I love organic products too)
Preferably something that will not make bub constipated.

I recommend Karicare Goat, a lot easier to digest than cows milk based formula

I don't think there is a best formula to be honest. Each baby is different and will tolerate formula differently.
I was recommended heaps when I had to give up breastfeeding and ended up settling with S26AR which worked great for THEM. Took a little while to find the right one for them.

I'll suggest donor ebm, human milk for human babies in your state would be a good place to look/ask they are on Facebook

Nazgul - were you using karicare goat formula?
Will look into the goat formula - had never heard of it. How do you think the transition from formula to normal milk went though?
I really really wish I could keep giving my own ebm but am only expressing about 100mls per day - CHN suggested I needes to supplement 125mls per day of either ebm or formula.

Remember what you are able to express is not a true indication of your supply. And unfortunately many MCHNs are not as informed about BF as we would hope.
I'm moving to formula for two feeds during the day while DD is in care when back at work cos she despises defrosted breastmilk. We're using Nan HA Gold which she was comp fed with while in special care nursery.
Good luck with finding the formula that works best for you.
