The name sounds fine.
I also prefer the traditional spelling.

Same, I prefer Cadence. It's musical and pretty. Kaydence strikes me as another "spelt that way for the sake of bring different" name iykwim? I think it works well with the surname though, and sounds lovely

Not a fan of Kadence, but I think it goes fine with you surname.
Our surname starts with an "S" and when we were having DD2, Saskia was on our shortlist of two names.
However, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rylee!

I'm afraid I really don't like the spelling.
Kaydence reads to me as "Kay is dense". I have a friend named Kay, so that might be why that leaps out at me.
Also, Cadence seems to flow with a shorter first syllable than your spelling suggests. I did find the break between it and your surname very harsh, and think that the PP hit the nail on the head with first name ending with the same sound as the surname starting with, thus risking it slurring into one word.
Out of your other suggestions, Amelia and Rylee are the most appealing to me. And I don't think there are too many l's, but my DD6 has four in her name, and she loves them.

A relative recently named her little girl Kaydence. I'm not a fan, I don't like the spelling and I imagine the poor little thing will get "dense" at school.

I like Cadence too. It means music so personally I would keep the spelling
I like Amelia too.
Even isabella is gorgeous. And you can't have too many ll's. I have a lot of loops in my signature and I love it!
