    I love Layla!!! I think Eva has become too popular, I know quite a few bubs with that name - having said that its also beautiful

    Evie Rose and Layla Rose were both on our short list - I love both but especially Evie.

    One of the reasons we didn't go with Evie is that we couldn't agree whether to call her Eva or Evie - I like Evie a lot more than Eva, but like you didn't know if it was too much of a nickname. I say go with what you love.

    We are expecting #2 and in the same predicament as both our favorite names are quite nicknamed again - this time I think we will go with the shortened name if that's what we love.

    I love Eva . Evie is also quite nice but in my Jan '12 due date group there was 3-4 of them alone.
