Lol, you would be surprised. Most chefs are so buggered by the time they get home so they just eat out so someone else can serve them lol.

I'm kinda lucky though -- DP is a chef and will cook more often than me (I'm a pretty lousy cook.) I make him brekky in the mornings, he makes me brekky on weekends. For dinner, he'll usually cook unless he's too tired then we'll just get takeaway or we go visit relatives lol. He's very meticulous when he cooks though so when he does cook, it's always a delight. Cooked to perfection and complete with fancy garnishes and everything. I'm super spoilt in that sense haha.

My DH can cook if really pressed to, but it rarely happens. And it has to be something pretty basic, or it ends up as a totally random meal.

He likes to think he can make pancakes, but he usually doesn't pay attention and uses plain flour with no raising agent and it is just awful.....but what can you say when he's gone to all that effort?

Ex dp was a good cook and we often shared duties between cooking and washing up. It worked well for us. Cooking now for 1.5 had become a bit of a chore.

Yes, he loves cooking - we both do.

I'd say it's 50/50 but he tends to do more of the cooking for dinner parties, as he likes trying out new recipes.

I do all the baking (cakes, biscuits, muffins, etc.) and he prefers the more 'gourmet' stuff. We're both foodies though.

Yeah, he is an excellent cook. He doesn't do it as often as I'd like lol but when he does we always have a lovely meal. He says I'm coming along nicely lol.
