Hopefully this is in the correct section, if not feel free to move it
Anyway, I'm approaching 22 weeks pregnant with bub #3
I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 8 years ago now, and have been on metformin ever since. Although I come off it while pregnant and breastfeeding, and also at other times (because I hate taking tablets, lol).
Anyway, is metformin okay to take while breastfeeding?
Will it help breastfeeding?
I struggled badly to try and breastfeed DS and DD, and don't want a repeat. My body simply functions better when I'm on the metformin.
Any advice/suggestions are appreciated. I'm not stressing overly about breastfeeding, but I'd really like to breastfeed longer this time.
Thanks in advance!
