    Default Clomid and ovulation tests.

I'm really confused here and i'm hoping someone will be able to help me.

I'm on my first clomid cycle, taking it day 3-7. I've had very little side effects that i can identify (i say that i can identify because i've been sick with a chest infection that has given me really high temps etc), anyways, on day 13 i did the first ovulation tests (one in the morning and one at night), both were positive. Then day 14 i did 2 more (one in morning and one at night), the morning was positive but the night negative, I did another this morning and it was positive. i've done 2 more since then and they were both positive too, today is day 19.

Anyone had this happen? I am really confused.

Yes I have had something similar. Are you a pcos sufferer? If so this can give you false positives.
It is good to use opks with other tracking methods so you can pinpoint O.

My FS says you shoildn't use OPKs when on Clomid, and especially if on Clomid and Provera.

Hormones can be too erratic to get an accurate result.

I was using the temp thing, but it wasn't working because i was sick with high temps for the first 10 days. I have been told i have pcos, but my FS said i don't have it, so i don't know? I'm only on clomid, nothing else.

Have you had bloods taken before to see what is happening?
You may have a mild form of pcos. My Dr did a scan of my ovaries and saw I had cysts and my blood test indicated I didn't O. She also said I don't have a bad form of it. I also had elevated levels of prolactin...
Could be many things causing this for you. It is difficult to read the signs so I recommend not to pay half attention to opks and just BD every second day and cover your bases.
