Does anyone know if this photo would get accepted. I honestly don't see why it would get rejected but would be nice to hear other opinions before I head off and get frustrated at the PO.

No idea, looks fine to me. I had issues getting a photo accepted, just went to a different post office and it went through fine to...
If no one here can give you any reasons just try a different post office!

I used to work somewhere that took passport photos. The things that would get rejected based purely on this photo are-
2-Stark look on bubbas face (needs to be neutral)
3-Image takes up a little bit too much of the picture
4-Shadow under the face
Unfortunately it is very hard to get the perfect shot of little ones.

Our passport photos from the chemist were rejected. They were really hopeless, I argued with the girl when she took them as I didn't believe they would be accepted (in one of them my youngest son had weird fleuro eyes, and my eldests head was taking up too much of the phoot), but she assured me that they would. They are generally a little more lenient with photos of children, but they still have to follow the criteria PP mentioned.
In the end I just got the woman from the Post Office to take them - they are the ones who conduct the passport interview and say yay or nay to the photo, so they take it correctly.

It took us ages at the post office to get a shot of dd. it still wasn't perfect but she wrote on the application 'best possible photo' and it was all ok. Like the others have said, it's definitely best to get it done by a professional so it meets sizing criteria and all the other stuff.
Good luck, it's a total pain in the butt lol
