Hi all! I had my bloods last week and scan is booked for this Fri. I will be 13 and a half weeks by then so beginning to find it hard to hide from work people.
How long until you typically find out the results? I don't think I could survive another week! Even if they give you an indication on the day?
Thanks in advance

Usually they give you an indication at the scan. With DD1 we waited after the scan and were given our results then, with DD2 the results were sent to my doctor within a week or so.

I had my blood test done about 2 weeks before my scan, so they had my blood test results before I went for the scan. Then when they did my scan, they combined the results, chucked them in the computer and it spat out the results of my risk ratio.
So you should get the results the day you do your scan. I would think most places would be the same?

I went to Sydney Ultrasound for Women last week. Blood test at 10.00am, scan at 10.30, results for both at 11.10. Fantastic place, definately paid a premium though!

Thanks all. Hoping we don't have to wait to long - just want to be able to tell people!
