I don't look at tatt people as less a person or criminal etc...I find it funny that some people with tatts think thats what people who don't have tatts think..

like peircing..coloured hair etc .. it's all just pretty normal to me..

I do find some tatts as I said before to look very bogan...

My reasons were that they were for me, and I didn't need the world to see them. DH and DD can see them too now, though.

I never wanted to feel like I couldn't wear something because of them, and I wanted to choose who got to see them.
Fair enough. I should have specified "or unless the tattoo itself is private". I completely understand your reasons for not showing yours off. Speaking for myself, I just couldn't go through all that pain (I'm needle-phobic) for a great tattoo only to cover it up. That's just the way I feel.

My first one didn't hurt at all, so I was really blase about the 2nd - and then it really hurt!! If they'd been the other way around then I might have ended up with just one...

Um actually people are simply answering the question the op asked. No one has been nasty thus far.

Maybe you should've got something classy, like a tribal tattoo?

If you're referring to my post I actually said in my opinion I think they are ugly.. I never said JUST on girls they are ugly, nor did I say they make the girl ugly.. I think that in GENERAL most tattoos don't look very nice.

If I could, I would go back and tell my 21 year old self to get. out. of. that. chair. now!

Oh well, you live and learn.

I don't really like then from my own experience but I have seen some nice ones and they are few and far between.
