Is there much you can make with a slow cooker that isn't stew-like? I don't like stews or casseroles where the meat/veggies have *that* texture, and we also don't eat curries. But with #2 on the way I'm thinking about how handy it would be to be able to organise dinner early in the day. If this baby is anything like DD I won't be able to cook at dinnertime for months!
So...what do you make with your slow cooker other than the above? Is it worth it? Any other tips/feedback?

Love my slow cooker! Makes yummy food and it's so easy. You can find heaps of recipes online if you google. Also woman's weekly has a great slow cooker book
