    I know 5 kids and 3 adutls who had this ALL adults unvaxxed infected kids under 3/4yo 2 who were not vaxxed at all.

    This is just going to worsen the situation. Many people are not going to be bothered if they have to pay for it.

    Nowhere has it been said they are 100% sure it has no effect, it also says they are making the decision in light of the best information they had at the time.

    It's still preventing deaths, I don't think it's a good idea to start charging. There needs to be a new vaccine for the new strains though, very scary!

    I would like to see the supporting research to prove it is not effective. My bet is on the research being skewed to support their argument to save money. I hate our government. Another stupid decision.

    I'm pretty sure that it's because the whooping cough has mutated into a slightly different strain that isn't protected against by the current vaccination?

    I may be wrong (and I hate finding references on the iPad, sorry), but if that's the case i hope they bring the program back when they develop a vax against the current strain
