OPI. It's why most salons will use it.

Regarding ingredients, OPI lacquer no longer contains the three nasty ingredients found in many nail polishes which were flagged as being carcinogenic (toluene/dibutyl phthalate/formaldehyde).

ick. Formaldehyde. Can't get over the fact that it's used to preserve dead bodies. Ick.

I know. It's an embalming agent and a known carcinogen, yet it's present in so many products used in everyday households (including many, many widely used baby products - and a very popular one starting with 'J' ).

Just another question. Is there any nail polishes that are okay for children to wear very occasionally because DD is always nagging me to paint her toe nails.

My boys occasionally wear mine, I know there is an australian brand called hopscotch which is child friendly. I personally don't own any and just use my polishes on them - as mentioned in PP, OPI doesn't have many nasties in it and my boys are 4 and 2.5 so they no not to chew the paint off.
