DS has had Maccas occasionally. I don't really think to go there (unless I'm having insane cravings like right now). We've been a few times when we've been on a long drive somewhere, and DP sometimes gets a bacon and egg mcmuffin if we're out early and will get DS a hash brown.

I think those chicken "wraps" are such a con though, they are basically chicken nuggets stuffed into a wrap with some mayo and a lettuce leaf. Errr... how is that healthier??
.....You order the seared chicken as opposed to the (fried) crispy. Slightly healthier I think!

Although they do have additives, we were still having the fries up until a year ago when I found that out. Not anymore. Our takeaway is fresh cut organic potato chips and grilled fish from a small takeaway store, we occasionally get and the kids and dh will have the fish, not me..blergh don't fancy fish... Or vegan GF pizza we can get in the city... So yes to the occasional 'takeaway' perspective, but NO to maccas. Too many chemicals, additives and to be frank, I'm not supporting those types of food chains.

Yep. DD has had maccas a few times and she is 2.5. She usually has a happy meal with nuggets and a choc milk. She loves the milk and sees the whole thing as a huge novelty. We normally get it if DH is away for the wkend and we have a picnic on the floor with our maccas and watch a cartoon movie.

My children have had it, but they don't really like it. They would rather eat chicken rice from a Thai restaurant, and I prefer Thai as well, so if we have take away, we get that.

Yes, my children love a Happy Meal once in a while, usually on long holiday road trips when we utilise the toilets and playgrounds there, and I have been known to devour the odd Fillet a Fish from time to time. Once you try one, you'll never go back

They've shared a pack of chicken nuggets 3 times I know of.

They've also had the fruit toast.

Yep.. Once in a while. No soft drink though. Ds eats very healthy most of the time. There are alot worse things that kids get fed daily.

Yeah DS1 does sometimes ... Not the sift drink though. He started having it occasionally from about 3 onwards. Has never eaten a nugget though - he doesn't want to even try one.

DS2 is 15 months and stile a chip from DS1 last time he had it.... I've never bought it for DS2.
