I miscarried on Australia day, the next day isn't a work day for me so i officially had off 3 days the following week but all up I was away from work a week and a half. (i only work 3 days) my manager was lovely, she cleared all my appointments for the week and told me to come back whenever I wanted, but that I wasn't expected to do my regular duties, just what I could manage. I had to get someone to run my baby rhyme time for a couple of weeks as I couldn't face all those new mums
OP you should email your manager today and ask them to let the office know that you don't want to talk about it, if that's what you want

I think it was about a week. I was 'lucky' in that i m/c'd right before my wedding so had time off anyway and just took another day or two so i was sure i felt okay. Then only had to work a couple shifts before i had 2 weeks off to get married/have a honeymoon.

I had a missed miscarriage at 8wks. 2 later later I had a d&c - so that was 3 days in total - wed to fri. I then took the following week off. So 8days of work.

Oh that's so sad, right before your wedding... Did it make your wedding any more emotional? It sure would have for me... Poor thing :-(

Aww it's okay, i had a feeling right from the moment i found out i pregnant that it wouldn't stick so it wasn't a huge shock. I was upset but still had a great wedding day and actually fell pregnant again a few weeks after the wedding (that one stuck ). In a few photos i am holding my belly (without realising) and someone made the comment that it was like i knew i'd be pregnant soon when really i just thinking of the baby i lost - that was a bit sad as noone knew i was pregnant.
This was 5 years ago so i feel okay about it now. It wasn't my time then but i have 2 beautiful daughters now

It took me just over 1 month to miscarry, I took 2 days off when I first found off. 2 days off when I first started bleeding and 8 days off when I actually miscarried (I also ended up in hospital 2 days after the miscarriage)

A week, each time. I needed time out to process and grieve. I told my coworkers what happened and I found most people (except one psychopathic boss) to be understanding. Take as much time as you personally need. I am so sorry for your loss.

Oh lovely, best of luck tomorrow don't feel like you have to go, unless you think you want to. And don't feel like you have to stay if it's all too much. Look after yourself
