Stupid me washed my DS's Sophie in water and the squeaker has stopped working. He loves the squeaky sound. Any tips on removing the water and making the squeaker work again?

I wish I knew . My daughter took hers into the bath with her and ever since then it has stopped squeaking as well and no amount of trying from me has managed to get the water out. I don't think it will ever squeak again. I've noticed the hole is very small, so that makes things rather difficult too.

Sophie has a warning not to immerse in water, only ever wipe with a damp cloth. I don't know if there is a way to fix her, sorry.

Lol I have been trying to stop the squeaking noise ever since I bought it
Would it help leaving it in the sun to dry it out?

I know, I read the warning after I did it!! :P
I will try the sun option thank you It's a pretty expensive toy for it to stop working so easily! All I did was pour boiling water over it after he dropped it on the floor, I didn't even submerge it :/

Poor Sophie! Ours has made it into the water a few times and have found that if left to dry out in the sun is as good as new! She has even survived the dishwasher!

Could you leave her in a zip lock bag with some uncooked rice, and see if that works? Poor Sophie

Haven't heard of the rice in a bag, ill have to try it as well. I've left it in the sun all afternoon and the squeak is slowly coming back. Thanks for the tips hopefully it will be as good as new soon enough.

I second the bag of rice idea! DH thought Sophie would make a good bath toy so she had 2 or 3 baths before I realized that he was treating her like a $2 rubber duck! I left it in a big bag of rice coz it worked for my old phone and it worked for Sophie!
