Last night we went to a reunion at the newly built hotel where we live. Lots of kids outside playing on the lawn. I lost count how many cigarette butts my 1yr old found. Was driving me insane not to mention making me feel ill. Then whilst walking down the path to the car I took note of lots scattered around. Just discusting, bad enough that people smoke anyway but the litter they leave is atrocious!

I have to say I agree with this I am a smoker and I find I will walk to a bin and sometimes it's a bit of a walk but I hate seeing buts on the ground even worse when it is near where kids play!

I agree! I hate people leaving butts in children's playgrounds, it's disgusting and irresponsible.
How hard is it to put it in a bin?

Totally agree. I hate all littering and can't understand why it seems the norm to drop your cigarette butt on the ground after a smoke.

I am a smoker but I would not even think about smoking in a playground or anywhere near kids. It's not hard to find a bin to put them in.

I find it discusting also. I am a smoker (trying to quit) i always put my cig butt in the bin if i cant find one i put it out and put it in a nappy bag and get rid of it later. If i see ppl stand out a smoke and go to walk away when there is a big basically beside them i will say to them " oh cant u see the bin right there?" and point to the bin.
i know smoking is bad and dont know why ppl cant put there smokes in the bin.

I am a smoker and I Was given this pocket ash tray from my brother at Christmas. I think it's from clean up Australia day. It's great for when there is no bin and it means I don't feel as bad.
Now to successfully quit and I won't need to use it at all.
Just another point smoking in cars with children WTFF I have seen a few people doing this lately what is wrong with people.
