Hi girls, Im 33 weeks pregnant and can feel my abdominal muscles are separated quite a bit, I had a fit stomach before getting pregnant so my muscles must have been quite tight. I’m a bit worried about the pushing stage now (well a lot worried!), since all the advice says don’t do any straining with those muscles, anyone has any experience with this? I don’t want to destroy my stomach completely…

I do, plus i had my umbical herina repaired at 19 weeks. My surgeon said that it would easier on my body to repair any damage done during labour than do a c section.

so did they separate even further? how long did it take for them to get back into place?
