Default Melb Venue suggestions for 2 year old boy's party?

    Hi All,

My DS turns 2 on a couple of months (OMG!) and I'm looking for a venue for his party. I was thinking either a farm or train theme. My number 1 pick was Collingwood Children's Farm but that's booked out. My other though was the Bulla miniature railway, but that was a little exxy -$500 for venue hire alone....

So would love to hear any suggestions. I'm not keen on play centers and ideally I'm after somewhere that has some form of entertainment, as well as taking care of kids & adult catering. Budget is about $600 (20 kids & 20 adults). Parry is in July so needs shelter....

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Smileygirl,

Thanks for replying. I'm in Williamstown, but happy to travel up to about 40 minutes for a good venue.

    Cheers,

my idea was coopers settlement but that will be too far.

COuld you get one of the mobile petting Zoo's? they are normally about the $500 mark..but that would leave you with having to do the catering.

    What about werribee Zoo?
