Going against the grain here but I don't really mind mohawks, mullets or rat-tails. My Dad has always had a mullet since I can remember. Mum threatens to cut it off frequently but it is still there & they are having their 30th wedding anniversary this year. And he isn't a bogan

I don't particularly mind what hairstyles DD or any future children want - it is their hair so their choice! I was always allowed to choose my hairstyles so my children will get the same right.

It'd be boring with no variety!

    I hate both!

DS (almost 13) wanted one but it certainly won't be happening!! At least while Im the one cutting his hair. Being a hairdresser has benefits!
He is currently sporting the Beiber do.. I don't much like that either but
    Ill deal with it!

Sorry, but Surf clothes or not if I saw your DS with a Mohawk and rats tail I would automatically think 'total bogan'!!!
I edited your post for you so you dont come across as a b!tch attacking another hubbers parenting. You're welcome

E w w w !! Can anyone say Bogan ?? I struggled to watch Kobe on packed to the rafters when he had a rat tail :-/ After he cut it off, I was kinda attracted to him Lmao !!
No son of mine would ever have a rat tail or a shaved head with a "fringe". So not cool

I'm not really a fan of either. I hope my dp and kids don't ever want one. Well I know that dp wont ever want one. I would try to ralk my kids out of it, but who am I to tell them what to do with their hair when they're older?

this thread reminded me of undercuts as well. My 3 brothers all had them, not to mention zig zags shaved into the sides as well!
Undercuts can suit some guys.. if you like that look, which i do, but only on sexy 90's rockers like Anthony Kiedis. He could wear an undercut!
