    Default Chiro for silent reflux?

Hi, just looking for feedback from anyone who used chiro to help treat their babies silent reflux? Did it work? If so, how many treatments did it take, & what did the chiro actually do to your bubs?

My 8-week old has silent reflux, it's getting worse every day, but I want to look at other treatment options before medicating him.

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Absolutely try it!!!! It worked in 3 sessions with our 3rd child, amazing!!! DEFINITELY worth trying before medicating them. All they do it gently manipulate their back - with DD is was literally just with a couple of fingers, very gentle

Yep absolutely do Chiro. It works wonders. Our Chiro uses a hand held 'clicker' to do the adjustments. Very gentle. It took 4 sessions for there to be a noticeable difference.

Thanks for the replies. I've made an appointment for him this afternoon. DP isn't keen about it, but I've won him over on the fact it's got to be better than pumping medication into his little body

    Fingers crossed!

Tried it for my DD, she only slept with her head to the right side, and it fixed that, however it did nothing for her reflux. We needed medication and changes to my diet to get it under control.

Absolutely! I was just saying to a friend a couple of days ago that I cannot understand why people are so against trying this sort of thing, to the point where they would rather use medication. Makes no sense to me! Hope the appointment goes well!

I think it's the fear of the unknown. You hear stories about chiro's cracking backs etc but it's nothing like that. I only took my son to the Chiro out of absolute desperation as one opened literally around the corner. And it had helped immensely. He's not cured of his reflux but now only has one medication instead of two. Best wishes

Some people are very sceptical and anti- Chiro for babies but I swear by it! My dd was a different child after I started taking her to Chiro!
