    I actually love how HBO have kept the sex and violence. As others have said they have actually toned it down from the book and I think it is important to keep that stuff in as it sets the tone of the life they lead iykwim. I think they have done it very classily as well. Yes, the sex, rape, prostitution is degrading to women but that's the point.

    I haven't read the books, but DP has - and relays to me the occassional scene.

    We watched ALL of season 1 in less than a week, and oddly enough I enjoyed it [not usually one for fanatsy].

    I watched just waiting for the scene where she walks into the fire and emerges with the dragons - and ofcourse it was the very last.

    looking forward to the next.


    DPs man disappointment with the first series was that they didn't have the wolves in it as much as the books apparently do.
