Do you normally use white rice or brown rice?
Im curious, as I usually use white/jasmine rice because it cooks faster and has a more plain texture. Yet today I was cooking mustard chicken and felt like something different. I bought some brown rice and I have to say, I will never use white rice again. It does take a bit longer to cook, but I love the flavour and that the texture is a bit more rough. Gives it a bit of a bite.
Plus it is also the healthier option.

I have both brown and basmati rice sitting in the cupboard, I do prefer the brown.
LOVE arborio rice though.

mum used to force me to eat brown rice, so i've got some hangups around it
i do try to eat it half the time though. and the other half is usually when someone else is cooking for me cause i can't be rude and say 'no i need to eat brown rice' hehe

I used to eat white rice out of habit, as it's what I was brought up on, however my naturopath insisted that I make the switch due to the nutritional differences. I love brown rice...I'm so glad I switched.

Black rice? Red rice? I had no idea there are other colours than white and brown!
