    Edited: after more research it seems the websites can't even agree.. Some say microwave safe means the plastic won't melt, some say it means it won't leech chemicals. To be safe use Pyrex, china or bpa free plastic

    Even if you heat your food in glass/china you should heat it on 500 watts (or medium) it heats much more evenly and you don't have really hot outside bits and cold middle bits.

    yep I do- normally stuff that I'm only puttin in for 30 seconds or so. obviously if I'm coming potatoes in the microwave for 5 mins I'l use a microwave proof dish
    - your also not supposed to re use pump/ mount Franklin bottles etc but plenty of people do
