Default Can you refreeze chicken once cooked?

I am having a mind blank and just can't remember if you can refreeze chicken once it is cooked? I made some little chicken fingers for DD today from chicken mince I defrosted and wondering if I can refreeze some to use another time. If not I guess DH and i will have to eat them for dinner.

If the mince was uncooked... You cook it, and then freeze the leftover cooked fingers you made its fine. You can't refreeze uncooked meat that you have defrosted from frozen and not used.
I might be wrong, but that's my understanding. 😊

You technically may be able to, but I wouldn't ever do it..especially not chicken.

If it was fresh before you made them, then I wouldn't hesitate. But as you froze it and then defrosted it..no, I definitely wouldn't refreeze.

Yes, if it is raw, then cooked you can. If it thaws raw, and you don't cook it, it's not recommended that you re freeze it.

Nope you cant defrost and cook chicken and then freeze it again. If it was fresh, definitely. But not if it was frozen previously
