Our present study: "Maternal Factors Influencing Healthy Food Selection and Child Health Outcomes", investigates the criteria that Australian mothers use to make food choices for their children, and how these criteria are associated with their children’s diet, BMI, dental caries, and taste preferences.
Studies such as this one contribute enormously to our knowledge about factors contributing to obesity and dental caries in young children. As our understanding of these factors increases,we will be better informed about how we can foster a healthy lifestyle in pre-school children and their families. Your input into this study will contribute to increasing this knowledge base and therefore is very important to us.
