It's insanely hard for me to choose just one character, i love them all for so many different reasons.
But if i had to choose, i'd choose Ruth. I relate to her a lot. I love her crazy outbursts lol and her longing to just be loved and have a connection.

My mum introduced me to this awesome show last year and I just loved it! I loved that it had a bit of everything in it. I loved the drama, tears, hysterics, warmth and darkness! Honestly I just can't choose my favourite character I loved them all and like you, I love them all for different reasons. Buuttttt if I had to I would narrow it down to David and Claire, I thought they were pretty damn awesome! I have the biggest crush on Nate though Neddless to say I was devastated at the end of the series! I havent seen it since the first time so my memory is a bit vague but I fully intend on reborrowing it from mum and rewatching it all over again....and again...and maybe again I do know that one of my favourite parts was when Davids boys that he adopted drove past in the car with the music thumping, had me in hysterics! Will come back when I remember more!

I Love Claire. I always associated with her the most. I kept missing it when it was on originally but just finished watching them all a couple of months back.

Love this show! Allen Ball is awesome. Nate was my fave character. And Brenda was obscene, but intriguing!
I just love all the ins and outs of it.
If you love this, try True Blood. Another Allen Ball wonder piece!

Oh and I still can't watch the last few episodes without crying like a little baby.

Yep already ontop of trueblood (even went to the convention lol)
The first probably 3 times i watched the whole series (sfu) i hated Brenda, but then i really began to understand her, and why she is the way she is. I felt so sad for her in the end. She should have stayed woth Joe (who i crush on so bad)
I also didnt like claire in the beginning, but after about watching it four or five times started getting where she was coming from too, i really like seeing her transition from "i'm above everything" in highschool as a way of dealing with the fact she had no friends really (parker doesnt count as a friend imo) to then becoming really confident after becoming friends with anita and edie, and jimmy etc... Seing her turn into this awful b1tchy girl. To then being brought back down to earth for the last season. (so loved her with Ted)

I have to say in the days after finishing Six Feet Under I still thought about the ending all the time and how sad and upsetting it was! I was actually quite affected by it, It just goes to show how great the show was in getting the audience to feel and relate to the characters.

THE MOST UNDER-RATED SHOW EVER!!!
How bloody good was that show?! Channel 9 could have hit the jackpot if they'd aired it earlier instead I think it was on really late, Wednesday nights if I recall correctly, at some ridiculous time. I remember it came on straight after The Sopranos (another equally awesome series) so I'd watch my two fave shows back to back. Ahhh.. good times
I fell in love with Brenda's brother, can't remember the characters name but it was played by the sexy Jeremy Sisto... drool... he's so damn fine! lol...
I loved all of the characters, what an amazing, talented group of actors.. they all played their roles so well. I'm still telling people about this show years after the last ep aired, but not many people have heard of it
It was the most unique and quirky show ever. I miss it!
