Default Would you trust Condoms bought Online??

Ok so my hubby is the type that thinks he can always find a better "deal" or "save more money" when it comes to things like every day items.
Dries me insane, but his silly little missions to find better offers have helped us in the past lol.

We use condoms, a pack lasts us about a month. $8 a month for contraceptive method personally isn't much to me. But Dh is on a mission to find cheaper ways, or to get our money further :sigh:

Any way Ebay has some "good deals" he tells me
Some are $20 for a box of 100 Most of these coming from overseas lol.

Personally I don't think I would trust them.
I don't really have a reason why I don't trust them, they just sound dodgy and are coming from overseas so who knows what handling it's had ect exposure to sun light ect ect.

But have never tried them so maybe my eyes will be opened to the joys of shopping around

Has any one bought Bulk packs of cheap Condoms online? What was your experience?

Or would you ever buy them?

No I wouldn't. They need to be stored in facilities which are temperature controlled and I wouldn't trust a random seller to do that.

Personally I think $2 a week for contraception is pretty good though, but I guess every cent counts...

I'm not sure where you currently get them from, but you can buy bulk packs from most sex shops. Could be a more economical solution?

My point exactly... It's cheap as it is!!
He did the same thing when we were TTC.
He Bought a box of preg test online, it was like a box of 100 for $2 from china I think.. Needless to say I knew I was pregnant and didn't find out until I went on got a test from the local supermarket and got a BFP when the others were giving a BFN.

He stands by the effectiveness of his bargain find though *shakes head*

Dh just gets in these sever money saving modes and can go a bit far sometimes.. Please don't get me started on our electricity bill control!! Lol

We buy ours online. Same brands that you buy in the store, just in bulk. I'll ask DF what website he uses.

No way. I always get mine at Wollies because I only use one brand.
Like people said the way you store it makes a huge difference.
That is one thing I'm not willing to skimp on. A baby is way more expensive then $8 a month!

Condom country have bulk packs - up to 144 for around $40. They have ansell, four seasons and durex condoms. Pretty sure that's where DF gets ours from.

It'd depend on the brand and the seller...
Pregnancy tests though, we got a bunch of cheap ones online and they worked perfectly.
