    Default Facebook Funny Comment

A status was put up about a nearly 12 month old still waking multiple times per night, so they have decided to take him into their bed with them. At the time of reading, there were 28 comments, most of them from teachers, nurses, psychologists, childcare workers, and other professionals who work with children and have kids of their own. The responses were well thought out, links to safe co-sleeper beds, links to images of side car cots, recommendations for baby massage therapists, information on herbal remedies, and lots of comments about doing what it takes to get through. Then 1 comment from someone none of us can bring ourselves to remove, went like this:

Oi u neva sleep with babys cuz they neva sleep on there own if you want him to sleep on his own you put him 2 bed and leave him wif a bottle or dummy and some teddys.

Stood right out compared to the rest, and it was funny because not one person made reference to it. Just had to share.

How do you feel about that type of writing? Ignoring the actual advice, the spelling and everything else about it makes my head hurt trying to decipher it.

I cannot stand people who type like that, it's just lazy typing.
There are so many "Nek minit" (next minute) statuses at the moment that I've started blocking certain peoples posts.
Stupid but it annoys me lol.

I have a cousin who types like that. Drives me mental so I avoid commenting on their status or anything and if they comment on mine I try my best to figure out what they mean and then either give them a or a :? depending on what I think it means.

It's worse when they use numbers in their words like "$O PI$$3D!" Why do that? It's harder than just typing the actual word, what with all the shifts and stuff.

I have blocked her updates, but she comments on things and with us having about 30 mutual friends (and her having about 30 friends in total) it makes it hard to ignore.

Same....markes my head hurt. I have always prided myself on my excellent spelling (and grammar) to the point where I can, most of the time, correctly spell words new words I have only heard.

For me, it would be HARDER to write that so-called short cut way!

I don't read it, if they can't be bothered to spell the advice probably isn't going to be all that great.

It really annoys me, although my educated, conservative DP often replies to my texts/emails with "fo shizzle."
