I hope in protest of the horrors of feminism this woman doesnt vote, drive a car, work, have her own bank accounts, leave the house without permission, have premarital sex (or even worse a child out of wedlock!!!), dare to think that she DOESNT have to "service her husbands needs" immediately and with a cheery smile on her face, have her own opinions and voice them, teach her sons that they can wear pink/play with dolls/do dance classes/etc, dress immodestly, or leave the house without permission.

I'm assuming - going by the poll results, that the BH member who declares to be part of this 'International Group' in her sig hasn't found this thread yet?

I think here on the hub there's a lack of understanding when it comes to knowing what feminism is. I've seen several posters who operate quite traditionally in their families say they're not feminists, but I'd think the majority wouldn't forfeit their right to vote, or to not be a chattel...

I also see a lot of negative stuff said about women assuming a 'traditional' role, if it's what they want to do then it's right. When you ridicule how someone chooses to live and make out it's abnormal or wrong (when it's not harming anyone) then you're working against feminism.

This 'creed' makes me sad for all of the women in history who have fought for women's rights.

For a wonderful example I will quote a great source of historical political information you know in Mary Poppins, where Mrs Banks is fighting for women's right to vote? And they sing that song, 'Our daughters daughters will adore us, and will sing in greatful chorus... well done, sister suffragette!'

Those women worked and fought so hard for us today, and we have just become so accustomed to the way things are, that we don't even appreciate it... we even speak against it! I know that there is still a lot of progress to be made, but it feels like we will never be happy... if the woman who wrote that creed went back to a time where she literally had NO choices in her life, and NO rights, they would probably realise that they should be greatful, and not b!tching about feminism.

I would be interested in hearing why a woman would support this creed and the principles on the website so perhaps anyone who does agree could enlighten me and others?

I love that the last point calls for us to go back to a time when women were women and men were gentlemen. For goodness sakes, feminism doesn't stop anyone from being a woman!?!

I'm curious to know what the definition of a woman is? By followers of this organisation.

Look, I'm a proud feminist - I'm a SAHM, a farmers wife, I buy and make the food etc... My choice.

This is what a feminist looks like.

    .
Reading her website, I would say subservient. I was just reading some of her articles about how a good wife doesn't lead and our job is a 'support' to men. That women have ruined the armed services and how feminists have brainwashed everyone when really women don't make good leaders... ooookkk

I was going to say it's like something out of Gone with the Wind and the Civil War era...but Scarlett was actually a proud feminist
