    I too cook all my roasts in the slow cooker. I just sit the meat on top of a few scrunched up balls of tinfoil so it doesn't stick or burn on the bottom. No need for any liquid

    Chicken & sweet corn soup.

    400gm thigh fillets
    2 cans creamed corn
    1 can corn kernels
    1 cup chicken stock
    1/2-1cup peas
    1 small onion
    1 tsp garlic.
